Revenue Sensor

Introduction

What Revenue Sensor does, what it deliberately does not do, and how the pieces fit together.

Revenue Sensor is a marketing P&L for app businesses. It connects to the ad platforms you buy on and the stores that pay you, lines the two up day by day, and tells you what you actually earned — after the platform's commission and after buyer tax.

What it does

  • Pulls daily spend from your ad accounts — Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Apple Search Ads and the other networks you connect.
  • Pulls revenue from your stores and monetization sources — App Store Connect, Google Play, ad networks and mediation.
  • Normalises everything to one reporting currency so a Brazilian campaign and a Japanese payout can sit in the same row.
  • Produces a P&L you can read by app, by country, by platform and by date range, with margin already calculated.
  • Emails the same numbers to your team on a schedule, so nobody has to remember to log in.

What it is not

Being clear about this saves everyone time. Revenue Sensor is not a mobile measurement partner. It has no SDK, it does not sit in your app, and it does not attribute an individual install to a campaign or run SKAdNetwork measurement. If that is what you need, keep your MMP — Revenue Sensor reads the same ad accounts and adds the money view on top.

No SDK, ever

Every connector is read-only and works through the platform's own API or reporting export. Nothing has to ship in an app release for Revenue Sensor to start working.

How the pieces fit

  1. 1

    Connections

A connection is one authorisation to one platform — your Google Ads login, your Meta business account, your App Store Connect key. One connection can expose many accounts.

  2. 2

    Accounts and apps

Under a connection you choose which ad accounts and which apps to sync. Only what you select is fetched, and only what you select counts toward your plan.

  3. 3

    Daily metrics

Revenue Sensor syncs a day at a time. Platforms restate recent days, so the last few days keep moving until the platform settles them.

  4. 4

    The P&L

Spend and revenue are joined on date, app and country. What you read in the dashboard is that join.

Where to go next

If you have an account already, the Quick start walks you from an empty dashboard to a first profit number. If you are still deciding, the comparison pages explain where Revenue Sensor sits next to the MMPs and the subscription tools.
