Connect TikTok Ads
Authorise TikTok for Business, pick advertiser accounts, and understand what gets imported.
TikTok Ads connects over OAuth. You sign in through TikTok for Business, approve read access, and then choose which advertiser accounts to sync.
Before you begin
- A TikTok for Business login with access to the advertiser accounts you want to track.
- Read access (Analyst) is enough — you do not need admin rights to pull reporting.
Connect the account
- 1
Start the connection
Integrations → TikTok Ads → Connect in the Revenue Sensor console.
- 2
Approve in the popup
TikTok's authorisation screen opens in a new window. Approve read access and confirm the advertiser accounts you want to expose on TikTok's own selection step — anything unticked there will not appear afterwards.
- 3
Select advertiser accounts
The accounts the login can reach are discovered automatically. Tick the ones you want; each becomes a card you can open for per-account detail.
What gets imported
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Cost / spend | Daily, per advertiser account, in the account's own currency. |
| Impressions and clicks | Daily totals from the integrated report. |
| Installs | TikTok's optimised conversion count, where the account tracks it. |
Spend only
TikTok is imported as a spend source. Conversion value is not counted as revenue — revenue comes from your stores and monetization sources, so nothing is double-counted.
Troubleshooting
- No accounts listed: the signed-in login has no advertiser access, or the accounts were not ticked on TikTok's selection step. Reconnect and check that step.
- The connection went red: TikTok tokens are long-lived but a reconnect fixes an expired or revoked one. Reconnect from the card.
- Spend does not match Ads Manager: confirm both are in the same currency and time zone before assuming a mismatch.
