The Short Version
- You can cancel at any time, from your billing settings, without contacting anyone.
- Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- There is a free plan, so you can evaluate Revenue Sensor properly before paying anything.
- If something went wrong on our side, email us — we will make it right rather than point at this page.
The Free Plan
Revenue Sensor has a free plan that connects one spend source and one revenue source. It is not time-limited, and it exists so that you can see your own numbers before you decide whether the paid tiers are worth it. We recommend running it for a full billing cycle of your own before upgrading.
Cancelling a Subscription
Cancel from Settings → Billing in the console. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; there is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
Until that date nothing changes — your integrations keep syncing, your reports keep updating, and your team keeps its access. After it, your workspace moves to the free plan rather than being closed, so you do not lose your account by cancelling.
Downgrades & Plan Changes
Upgrades apply immediately: the higher limits are live as soon as the payment succeeds, and the charge is adjusted for the remainder of the period.
Downgrades are scheduled rather than immediate. You keep the tier you paid for until the end of the current period, and the lower tier takes effect at renewal. This means a downgrade never removes access you have already paid for, and it is why a downgrade does not generate a refund.
When We Refund
We will issue a refund in these situations:
- Duplicate or accidental charge. Billed twice for the same period, or charged after a cancellation that was already confirmed — refunded in full.
- A billing error on our side. Charged for the wrong plan or the wrong amount — we refund the difference.
- The Service did not work. If a defect on our side made the Service unusable for a material part of a billing period and we could not resolve it, we refund that period pro rata.
- Within 14 days of a first paid subscription. If you upgrade from free to a paid plan and it is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days of that first charge and we will refund it.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Our payment provider typically settles them within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
When We Do Not Refund
So that this is predictable rather than a negotiation, the following are not normally refundable:
- Partially used billing periods after the 14-day window on a renewal — cancelling mid-period stops the next charge rather than refunding the current one.
- Periods where the Service was available and working but simply was not used.
- Gaps in data caused by a third party — a revoked platform token, a permission removed on the ad platform’s side, or an outage at Apple, Google, Meta or another provider.
- Accounts terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service.
If you think your situation is genuinely one of ours rather than one of these, write to us and say so. We read those emails.
Failed Payments & Grace Period
A failed renewal does not switch your account off. There is a grace period of 21 days during which your integrations keep syncing and your access stays intact, so an expired card does not cost you a month of history. We will email you while the retry attempts run.
If the payment still has not succeeded when the grace period ends, the workspace moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted at that point beyond what the free plan’s limits allow.
The grace period applies to failed payments only. A deliberate cancellation runs to the end of the period you paid for and does not receive an additional grace window on top.
Annual Plans
Annual plans are billed once for twelve months at the discounted rate. The 14-day window in the section above applies to the first annual charge in the same way it applies to a monthly one. After that, cancelling an annual plan stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the term ends.
What Happens to Your Data
Cancelling moves you to the free plan; it does not delete your account. Reporting history then follows the free plan’s shorter window, so export anything you want to keep to CSV before the period ends.
If you want your data removed entirely, that is a separate request — see Data Deletion for how to make one and what the timeline is.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] from the address on the account, with the invoice number or the date and amount of the charge, and a sentence on what went wrong. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to resolve approved refunds within 10.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback freezes the account while the dispute runs and takes far longer to resolve than an email to us. If the charge was genuinely wrong, we would rather just refund it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in the product before they take effect, and the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version. This policy supplements our Terms of Service; where the two conflict on refunds or cancellation, this policy controls.
